Barbara Cox “Woman of the Year” 2024
Jacqui Barker, Global OEM Strategy Director at Keyloop, has been named 2024 Barbara Cox Woman of the Year. Presented at a Cox Automotive Women with Drive event.
A delighted Jacqui said she was “stunned” to win, praising the industry’s growing diversity and the “impressive” shortlist of women driving change. She receives £5,000 for personal development, while Marta Blazquez was Highly Commended. The award is run by Cox Automotive Europe with AM and Fleet News.

Barbara Cox “Woman of the Year” 2023
Sara Sloman, Chief Strategy Officer at EV fintech Paythru and Director of The EV Café, won the award at our 8 March ‘Women with Drive’ event marking International Women’s Day. She vowed to “pay it forward” and work with fellow finalists to advance equity for women in automotive.
Highly Commended went to Kate Ruberry-Shoemack (Rygor Commercials) and Erin Baker (Auto Trader). Other finalists included Mariam Aslam-Digger, Kate Howdon and Dal Dosanjh.
2023 Women with Drive: THRIVE
On 18 October, Cox Automotive hosted its first internal Women with Drive; Thrive event at the Collaboration Centre, Bruntingthorpe.
Sponsor Sam Panayides opened with a personal story on thriving; keynote speaker Angie Vaux shared career-growth insights; and Sarnjit Kaur led a panel with Angie, Svenja Keller, Marta Blázquez, Kellie Smith and Karoline Baumann on overcoming obstacles.
