Carsa, the fast-growing car supermarket, has selected Manheim Auction Services as its partner of choice for vehicle remarketing.

The two businesses have agreed on a two-year solus deal that will see Manheim Auction Services take responsibility for disposing of up to 2,500 units per year, offering a closed loop remarketing service from its Birmingham auction centre. A bumper 60 cars offered through auction will kick off the agreement, with subsequent weeks offering up to 50 units.

The decision to work with Manheim is strategic, enabling Carsa to channel its remarketing through the Midlands. This centralised remarketing strategy will serve existing physical Carsa locations in Bradford, Mountsorrel and Southampton.

Mike Hawkins, Sales Director, Carsa, explained: “Carsa believes strongly in the opportunities to customers that an omnichannel approach to retail brings. That’s why our contactless click and collect and home delivery options are supported by physical showrooms. The returns loop and remarketing process are key to implementing a successful hybrid sales strategy. Entrusting this to Manheim fills us with confidence that we have the right partner on board to support our growth ambitions.”

Liam Quegan, Managing Director, Manheim Auction Services, added: “Carsa is a fast-growing, innovative business that it is already making an impact in the vehicle retail sector. Their approach to customer service is powering national growth and is a result of their considerable experience across the sector. Manheim is proud to support Carsa as it continues to achieve its expansion and growth ambitions.”
