1) Climb Every Mountain

This year we launched an exciting partnership with our new charity, Make A Wish Foundation and we got off to a roaring start. ‘Climb Every Mountain’ saw hundreds of Cox Automotive team members, both in Europe and across international, come together in a challenge to walk 24,000 steps in 24 hours. We raised thousands of pounds and Euros to help grant the wishes of critically ill children.

2) Charity tour for Sepsis charity

In September, Manheim team members James Slocombe and Georgia Richardson undertook the mammoth task of travelling over 3,000 miles in Georgia’s Mazda MX5, attending 16 charity auctions, at 15 locations across 14 days along the way – all to raise money for the UK Sepsis Trust. The pair smashed their challenge, more than doubling their fundraising target!

3) 100 for 100

As part of Manheim’s centenary celebrations, we challenged team members to set their own challenges around the theme of the number 100. Some examples included a 100km bike ride, baking and selling 100 cupcakes, and picking up 100 pieces of litter. All we asked was that £100 or €100 was raised for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

4) Cox Cares

Our Cox Cares campaign is all about encouraging team members to give back to their local communities. Some examples include team members who used their volunteering day to pick litter at their local beach, and the Manheim Leeds team who created 50 care packages of food and toiletries for seniors living independently in their local area.

5) Magpas sponsorship

Our sponsorship of Magpas, the air ambulance charity, has provided essential funds that has enabled Magpas’ advanced medical team to deliver essential care to critically ill and injured patients across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding counties. More recently, funds were used to upgrade vehicles in their fleet, providing better safety and more capabilities for the people  using the vehicles to save lives.
