1) SnowdIn

Due to the Covid restrictions in place, the annual Cox Automotive Mt. Snowdon climb for charity was unable to take place this year. But that didn’t stop us! Instead we tasked team members to walk 24k steps in 24 hours (the same as the route we would have taken up the mountain), raising an incredible £10k for Mind in the process.

2) London Marathon

On 4th October, Craig Mailey, Alison Fisher and Sarah Marley took to the streets to run the virtual London Marathon – completing the 26.2 miles in their own local areas in tricky conditions! Both Craig and Alison ran to raise funds for Mind—our charity of choice—raising over £5,000, while Sarah raised over £2,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

3) Steptember

Ben is a charity close to our hearts due to the support they provide to those who work or have worked in the automotive industry. To show our support, team members were tasked with walking 10k steps a day, every day in September. It quickly became a competition to see who could walk the furthest and thousands were raised in the process!

4) Cox Cares

2020 has been a hard year for everyone, none more so than the thousands of people that rely on foodbanks to help feed their families. That’s why as part of our Cox Cares initiative, team members have raised money and donated hundreds of pounds worth of food since the summer to foodbanks including the Trussell Trust.

5) Hats on 4 Ben

Hats on 4 Ben is a yearly event that takes place during Mental Health Awareness Week to raise vital funds for Ben so they can provide much needed mental health support across the automotive industry. Our team members were eager to take part by sharing their funny pictures on social using #HatsOn4Ben and donating £5 each.
